Cancellations & refunds

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases on the Equiself website at equiself.app (the "Service"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy affects mandatory statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

1. Subscriptions

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then.
  • Fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

2. Credits

  • Purchased credits are generally non-refundable once purchased.
  • Unused, never-spent credit purchases may be refunded at our discretion if you request it within 14 days of purchase.
  • Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

3. Digital Content Delivered Immediately

Reports that have already been generated and AI coaching that has already been delivered are non-refundable, because this content is produced and delivered to you immediately upon request.

4. EU/EEA & UK Consumers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. By purchasing and accessing digital content or services that begin immediately (such as generating a report or using AI coaching), you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. For services only partially performed, we may retain a proportionate amount for what has already been provided.

5. Billing Errors & Faulty Service

If you were charged in error, charged more than once, or the Service was materially defective, we will make it right — including issuing a refund where appropriate. Please contact us as soon as you notice the issue.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email support@equiself.app from the email address associated with your account and include the order or payment details. We aim to review and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment provider (Mollie); processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
